Compassion fatigue is a pervasive issue that disproportionately affects people working in the animal research field.

An awareness of compassion fatigue has been growing in many industries, including health care & veterinary medicine, but more resources are needed to support the animal research industry.

This course introduces the topic and discusses strategies that can be employed at the individual, departmental, and institutional levels.
